We have had collies since our childhood, but we only started breeding in 1958 under the name “Morit Collies Kennel” honoring our first collie whose name was “Morito”. All those years ago, many more would still go by before the foundation of the Federación Cinológica Argentina of which we were promoters, we made up our first champions at shows held by the Argentine Rural Society.

We began breeding with some dogs of British and American bloodlines. Years went by and in January 1979 when we had the chance to go to the our first National held by the Collie Club of America we suffered a shock, which is why we decided to start all over again. That is the reason why we acquired new stock from the main and most important lines at that time (mainly TWIN CREEKS, WESTWEND, HANOVER, LOU-MAR, and others) and considering this we decided to start afresh with a new kennel name: KING'S ROSE COLLIES.

Since then we have made up 100 champions, either imported or out of our own dogs. Between them are Uruguayan, Chilean, Peruvian and Bolivian Champions and we are very proud of the very first Argentine born American Champion which was bred by us.
Amongst our dogs we have had some special ones like: Am.CH.WESWEND´S PAPER ROSE, Best Puppy and Winners Bitch at the National Specialty held by the Collie Club of America.
Am.CH.TWIN CREEK´S NITTY GRITTY top producing female at the time in America (mother of the famous sire CH.TWIN CREEK'S POST SCRIPT).
We also imported Am.CH.TWIN CREEK'S MAIN EVENT, who the same as Paper Rose and Nitty Gritty were sired by Am.CH.TWIN CREEK'S TRUE GRIT, a Top Producer in America. These bitches, amongst other top quality American imports were the foundation of our breeding. Amongst them I shall mention Am.CH.RENWICK CLASSIC MANNER, CH.LOU-MAR'S COAL MINER, CH.HANNOVER'S EAR WIND AND FIRE, INT.CH.WINDFALL'S DIAMOND JUBILEE, CADEN'S CRACKLING ROSE, PARADICE LEADER OF THE PACK, TWIN CREEK'S GROVIN We have bred some outstanding Champions such as CH.KING'S ROSE NIGHT AND DAY, CH.KING'S ROSE CHARLIE BROWN, CH. KING'S ROSE SILVER SHADOW, CH.KING'S ROSE COMMING FASHION, CH.KING'S ROSE GOLDEN XUXA, CH.KING'S ROSE JOHN JOHN, right up to our two present specials: INT. CH. KING'S ROSE A DREAM COME TRUE winner of 19 SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOWS and CH,KING'S ROSE TOO MUCH with 5 SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOWS to date.
In 2000 and again in 2001 we have had the # 1 Collie in both statistics COLLIE CLUB ARGENTINO and in the FEDERACION CINOLOGICA ARGENTINA: Arg. GR. CH.Lat. Amer. CH. INT. CH. KING 'S ROSE A DREAM COME TRUE (Rocky). Number 2 Collie in both statistics is our other sire Arg. GR. CH.Lat. Amer. CH. INT. CH. KING 'S ROSE TOO MUCH (TOMMY).

KING'S ROSE COLLIES was also awarded BEST BREEDER and BEST EXHIBITOR for both 2000 and 2001.

During 2002 our CH.KING'S ROSE BRIGHT FUTURE won 5 SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOWS and became the Number 1 Collie for the year in Argentina, and KING’S ROSE was once again BEST BREEDER and BEST EXHIBITOR.

Again in 2003 our CH.KING'S ROSE A DREAM COME TRUE was # 1 Collie and yet again we were awarded BEST BREEDER and EXHIBITOR in the COLLIE CLUB ARGENTINO.

We would like to add that during many years we didn’t compete in the rankings or statistics and that due to special circumstances we decided to show our dogs more often so that everyone could see that we still breed with the same love and show our dogs with the same enthusiasm as 45 years ago.

And we have reached our 100th Champion!!!

On September 1st., 2002, our “BUCK” (King's Rose Bright Future) became our 100th. Champion under breeder judge Graciela García Grigera and went on to win Best in Show. He was also Number 1 Collie for 2002 for the COLLIE CLUB ARGENTINO y SHETLAND. (To date two new Champions have been added to this long list).
